Hi Ralph; You and I are working on similar ideas, we are currently testing 141A for doing the same and have it runninig from one of our local Emergency Operations Centres (EOC)
We have tried RFSM 2400 and it is in our opinion not quite as robust as 141A, which at the same time is not quite as fast as RFSM 2400. Bit of a compromise I think. Both seem better than PSK63, and both are ARQ modes so that the message does get through eventually despite rotten conditions. Patrick has a new release of MultiPSK at http://f6cte.free.fr/MULTIPSK_TEST_23_04_2007.ZIP This contains the latest version of 141A, and the ability to send a message to an unattended station addresse, and have it show up in it's mailbox . Trying it on 40M the message took several tries, but got through from central Canada to california in some pretty heavy QRM from broadcast stations. Would be interested in your comments John VE5MU
