I have been asked to demo three digital modes for a club's Field Day
effort. The ARRL rules apparently allow digital modes to count only
if the mode is not used for regular QSOs. Does anyone know if
traditional meteor scatter contacts on 6M VHF or UHF are considered
regular QSO modes for Field Day purposes? Also, would JT65A have been
considered a mode used for regular QSOs back in the days when it was
used on 6 and above, MS ? Since QST is mentioning HF use of JT65A in
their July edition of QST, I am assuming they would count JT65A on HF
as something not "regular".
