I wanted to switch to a wider mode, but really could not do it because I would have QRM'ed the stations down the band who were on PSK31. That is why I suggested 500 Hz only. It would have been even more interesting to try the 2000 Hz mode which just became available in the Ham Radio Deluxe/Digital Master 780 suite, but there just was not room at the time.
There may be a bug in DM780 as I did experience a lock up of Olivia. It was so bad that I had to shut down both HRD and DM780 and reboot the program.
