Ok, played locally tonight on 2 meters FM SSTV and my main computer with SL-1+ and FT857 worked like a charm.
Laptop and SL-1+ and FT817 copied W1AW on 40 meters RTTY and Pactor 100 %. Try and copy signals on SSTV and the volume level indicator turns green and the picture starts to copy and then goes back into AUTO and no more copy. I have Sigma tel soundcard (I think that is what it says).. Any help on this one.. Oh I took the SL-1 from my FT-817 and swapped for SL-1 from FT-857 and no change. The one from the FT817 transmitted 100 % on the FT-857. Ok, good night. Fred VE3FAL
