Just learned about Multipsk's "Voice" mode thanks to Sholto (KE7HPV). It's 
an Olivia mode derivative that uses 8 tones with a bandwidth of 168 Hz. It's 
called Voice because it has the ability to vocalize incoming characters.

I'm sure Patrick developed the mode with sightless hams in mind and I 
thought I'd mention it here since I believe there are a few sightless hams 
on this reflector.

It might be an undertaking, but it would seem that this could be taken a 
step further by linking the incoming digital mode text to a text-to-speech 
program or something along those lines. That would allow speech with any 
mode.

Just a thought.
