Paul, It may help on PSK-31. Olivia can use a bandwidth wider than the filter. MT-63 and other modes can also. For this reason, I would look at how much I used the narrow bandwidth modes and make your decision accordingly. To slow Olivia down to 250Hz BW needs to be considered in terms of duty cycle and speed of delivery. Just some thoughts to consider, David KD4NUE
