The LOTW Sked Page that I created ( see http://www.obriensweb.com/sked/ ) has turned out to be very popular with many hams checked in. A nice surprise is the amount of hams looking for digital QSOs, I have worked 11 US states using Feld Hell this past weekend !
A French ham that uses the LOTW Sked Page mentioned that he would like to see a similar page for the Diplôme des Départements Français de la Métropole , an award where you try to work all 95 French "departments" . I spent some time yesterday and created a page for the DDFM skeds and also added a Worked All Britain page and a Worked All Europe page. See http://www.obriensweb.com/skedeu/ If you are a European ham, especially a ham from the UK or France, please consider logging in to the page. You will initially have to log in with you callsign, QTH, and WAB/DDFM numbers (if you are located in those countries) . To understand the idea behind these sked pages check the activity on the LOTW page ( http://www.obriensweb.com/sked ) . This is different from a DX Cluster, no big-gun DXers to anger. It is a casual place where you can coordinate skeds/QSOs and have conversation . When you check in, it is usual that you would announce that you are QRV, the frequency you are on, or what DDFM/WAB/WAE entity you are looking for . e.g. " K3UK , QRV. Looking for any WAB QSOs" or "F3UK, QRV de DDFM 62 PAS de CALAIS NO " Please pass this message on to other ham email groups so that we can create interest . Andy K3UK
