[digitalradio] PSK interface

I have an interface here for my FT1000MP.
2 - DIN plugs, one marked RTTY, the other packet.
And 2 wires going to the sound card, sone marked peaker out, 
and the other mic input. Plus a cable going from the serial port to the 
computer.
Do I need to access the radio menu and change anything to get this to transmit?
