Jerry, If it is a BuxComm, then the cable between the radio and the interface is different for different radios (as opposed to the West Mountain units which use an internal set of configuration jumpers). But often an entire series of radios by the same mfr will use the same cable. Go to the BuxComm web site (Google for BuxComm) and compare the cables for the FT-1000MP and for your Yaesu and see if they are the same part number.
