I have run into a curious situation with this new machine. It is Compaq laptop AMD X2 processor, Vista Home Premium SP2. I am using a Rigblaster plus and a creative live USB sound card the sound card and a usb to serial adapter are on a usb hub. Transceiver is an FT897D.
So far MiXW 2.19 works with this set up using RTS for push to talk, however such is not the case with Fldigi 3.12.4 I have the com port selected and in the hardware control tab I check RTS and initialize then try to send into the dummy load but the transmitter does key. If I select RTS +12 when I initialize the computer keys the Rigblaster and the transmitter and it stays keyed. Right now I only have the one serial to usb so I'm not trying to run cat.
