Hi Frédéric,

I have indeed looked into an offline map source based upon openstreetmap.

The key issue there is how detailed it should be, zoom steps, versus required
size. It very quickly grows into megabytes, gigabytes...
One way to do it is to provide a basic map for offline use and make it simple
to create your very own detailed off line map.

Hello, and thank you for all,

I try all these things in the day, if I come from my holiday place to connect.

On data OpenStreetMap is awonderful idea, the more I do not see why
could not have used these data in a non-internet connected, I was here
for business computing and associative. (shape format)

Become a contributor on OpenStreetMap is a breeze, I do this for the map of my
town ...

Bon courrage all.
