Hi Simon, Thanks for the info. Yes I have checked this out and does look nice for the price. However this is a RX unit, and I would like to find a Transceiver to cover all bands. I am going to joing the SDR group and get some advise from them. If nothing else I might look at the SoftRock and build a single band until I find what I am looking for.
I know you are working on an SDR interface with HRD so this will add digital deatures to these radios. Hi Kevin, To get your feet wet try a SoftRock v9 receiver, cost ~$60, 160m to 10m or 80m to 6m. Simon Brown, HB9DRV www.ham-radio-deluxe.com ----- Original Message ----- From: Gmail - Kevin, Natalia, Stacey & Rochelle I did see on this group some mention of SDR's awhile back, so would be interested in your comments, and what they are like for digital modes? (I would be using it for voice as well) Are these more suitable for the future of digital voice?
