David, The Rascal will work with EasyPal. You may be best served to do a reboot of the computer after each combo is tried. Try this on a fresh reboot: TX: RTS ON DTR OFF RX: RTS DTR (OFF Always). Different software may look for voltages on different pins on the serial port, so one size doesn't fit all. I have since switched to a SignaLink USB, but I believe those settings in my Easy Pal haven't been updated since I was using the Rascal. BTW, I am using XP. David KD4NUE
