Hey, that's great! My invisible friend agrees with yours. :-) I have invisible friends that I talk to on SSB late at night via my HF Manpacks. They are never there when I try to show friends, so it's become a standing joke that I talked to my invisible friends! So me calling it paranoia was a bit strong. But implying that ALE ops will multiply & takeover the bands based on the proposal from an individual is a leap of some type. I understand the concern about seeing one operation pattern/style/mode/whatever dominate the bands to the exclusion of others is a concern. My view is that debates about digi-modes are tempest in a teapot. The broader issues are around impact of contesting, allowing for continuing to advance the state of the art, etc. Have fun, Alan km4ba
