In the software there is a check-box that is user selectable, when selected by the Server owner... it will not transmit if the frequency is busy. I do not have a lot of experience with it yet. On the client side, same thing, and it works well. There has been some occasional discussion about removing the option and making it so a busy detect can not be over-ridden
