*Responsibilities*
* Build, extend, upgrade, and optimize
infrastructure-level applications and frameworks to support
core infrastructure improvement initiatives
* Collaborate with Technical Operations, QA, release engineering,
platform and application engineers to drive infrastructure improvements
* Maintain and extend automation tools and frameworks
* Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability
of operations infrastructure
* Conduct design and code reviews

Requirements*
* BS/MS in Computer Science highly desirable
* Solid design and development experience
* Strong experience in *server-side application development with Java
* * Experience developing and debugging in *C/C++ and Python*
* Knowlege of scripting languages (perl, shell)
* Extensive experience building large-scale server applications
* Experience with operating system internals, file systems, distributed
systems, or server architectures
* Strong skills in *object-oriented API design
* * Proficient in SQL and relational database design and schema
* Strong understanding of system-level operations and devices (JVM
garbage collection, OS/java memory management, etc)
* Good understanding of network protocols (HTTP, SOAP, XML RPC, etc)
* Experience with highly multi-threaded and data-intensive distributed
environments
* Desire and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing, dynamic
environment
