Data Modelers Design, develop and deploy robust data models in a large scale environment. Strong working experience developing PL/SQL for Oracle 9i and 10g databases. Heavy end user interaction which requires contractor to explain complex technologies in layman terms. Design of data models and programs including detailed database specifications, coding of database/program from specifications, testing, debugging, and maintenance of programs. Technical skills: • Demonstrated experience in strategic integration and design of complex data base models • Demonstrated experience converting logical models into physical models • Strong PL/SQL working experience • Working experience with Oracle 10g • Working experience fine-tuning SQL • Working experience maintaining roles, users and object permissions • Working experience with implementation of data objects • Strong communication skills • Experience working with Erwin modeling tool or similar tool • Experience working with Agile methodologies is desirable • Working Experience with MS SQL Server preferred is a plus • Demonstrate proficiency in all of the above at a Senior level Functional background: • Direct involvement in the design and development of enterprise databases • Direct involvement in reverse engineering and modernization of existing databases • Driver of data modeling activities • Demonstrated experience collaborating with others in design and implementation of complex data integration deliverables General abilities needed: • Highly motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving • Demonstrated leadership • Ability to identify solutions and work independently with somewhat nebulous requirements • Excellent interpersonal skills including strong verbal and written communication skills • Flexible and adaptable to changing roles and various levels of responsibility • Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group • Ability to network, influence, and utilize internal and external resources • Ability to exercise high degree of professionalism 2. Data Integration Lead – Must have very strong communication skills and lead skills/experience Summary of the job: Design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise integration. Scope will include creation of new integration as well as the modernization of existing integration, help create and implement strategic data and integration vision and lead other data and integration engineers. Development will center on requiring strong expertise in Java programming and knowledge of web services, JMS, and integration tools such Sun's JCAPS. Technical skills: • Senior-level skills in Java programming, JMS and JDBC are critical, at least three years of proven hands-on experience.
