* ETL Administrator (Contract 3 to 4 months)* Specific Responsibilities · Responsible for developing, executing and communicating daily ETL Runs, in accordance with appropriate ETL administration best practices and procedures · Establishing and enforcing internal ETL governance and technical standards for ETL developers · Manage all assets in the ETL environment and perform ETL development as assigned. · Maintain all necessary updates and/or patches for the ETL environment. · Provide administration and first line support for the deployed ETL processes · Monitors and tunes ETL repository and system for performance improvements · Identifies, researches, and resolves ETL root cause of production issues or system problems · Responsible for documentation related to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) · Responsible for maintaining documentation for all ETL and batch processes · Responsible for documenting and reporting production status and production performance on a daily basis · Work with the business analysts and ETL developers to ensure that solutions meet the performance criteria's set in the requirements document · Responsible for the configuration management of the ETL mappings · Inform the development team and management about maintenance of all breakdowns and maintenance immediately Preferred Requisites and background: · 1 or more years of experience in administering Informatica. · 2 or more years of UNIX experience. · 2 or more years of experience managing ETL environments on major RDBMSs like Oracle and SQL Server · Experience maintaining complex production ETL environments with large volumes of data. · Excellent understanding of data warehouse specific load architecture, parallelism, partitioning and node architecture. · Excellent understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence methodologies and architectures · Self motivation and ability to excel in a fastpaced environment – · Exceptional communication skills · Ability to collaborate with internal and external clients and to translate requirements into solutions · Ability to prioritize tasks and work concurrently on multiple tasks is essential · Must be able to work the second shit (3PM to 11PM EST) periodically, and ability to be on call.
