Location:MN Client is seeking an individual to act as a web engineer for development of our strategic business applications. In general this individual will: • Act in the highest technical level technical role as an individual contributor and/or team lead for the most complex computer applications and/or application initiatives. • Utilizes a thorough understanding of available technology, tools and existing designs. • Works on the most complex problems where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors • Plans, performs and acts as the escalation point for the most complex platform design, coding and testing. • Leads most complex multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts • Acts as an expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing and implementation process. Expert Skills Required: • Must have experience with designing, building and deploying enterprise software built in Java. • Excellent Java, J2EE • Experience with J2EE based large scale enterprise software • Significant hands-on experience developing scalable, high- performance J2EE Solutions • Development & Implementation using Java Platform & J2EE standards, including open system tools. • Significant hand on experience with the Agile methodology. OO Design, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Code Reviews. • Experience with software design patterns, especially the MVC pattern. • Strong application design skills and the ability to represent those designs in UML. • Significant experienced with Spring, Hibernate, J2EE, Cruise Control, CVS, Subversion, HTML, JavaScript • Extensive experience with mid-tier server side technologies. Experienced in multi-tier, component-based architecture and design. • Experience using SOA technologies such as SOAP, WSDL, XML Schemas, etc. • Very strong team-interaction skills • Excellent communication skills • Excellent problem solving skills Intermediate Skills Required: • Experience working with web services • Architecture experience with multi-tier enterprise level applications.
