*Location:* Emeryville, CA *Duration:* 1 year Plus (possible extension) *Start:* Immediately *Rate:* DOE (C2C) * * *Job Description* *Position*: Sr. Software Engineer *Principal Responsibility:* Software Development – primarily coding in Javascript and Actionscript Development Environment: Javascript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, *Adobe Flash, Adobe Flex 3, Actionscript 3,* Eclipse, Java, JSP, XML, XSD, XSLT, Tomcat/Coyote/JBOSS/Jetty *Desired Skills:* - *Design/Documentation*: o Ability to generate Software design specifications o Ability to generate designs to support new requirements on an existing system o Ability to understand requirements documents and high- level architecture - *Programming*: o Object oriented development in Javascript and Actionscript 3 o Experience with 3rd party Javascript libraries – MooTools preferred o Extensive knowledge of HTML and CSS with the ability to manipulate these through the browser DOM. o Experience in AJAX development calling REST based services o Experience with MVC based frameworks o Adobe Flex 3 development experience including: § Adobe Cairngorm MVC framework § Making server side calls via HttpService § Knowledge of the Flash graphics manipulation – both vector and bitmap manipulation o Experience in the creation of JSP pages to act as host containers for rich internet applications. o Experience with ATG E-commerce solutions is a plus o Familiarity with consuming server based services from Flex applications through: § AJAX § SOAP § AMF-RemoteObject o XML/XSD/Web Services: § SOAP – Simple Object Access Protocol § REST – Representational State Transfer § Ability to generate and work with XML schemas § Understanding of Web Services Definition Language WSDL o Java experience including: § Java EE - JBOSS § JSP, Servlets, WebWork o Knowledge of localization techniques o Understanding of encryption and hashing algorithms o Good knowledge of software algorithms and design patterns - *Experience* o History of successful software commercialization projects o Knowledge and proven execution of Software Development processes (e.g., SCM) o Strong organization skills, self-motivated, team player o Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - *Quality* o Track record of quality software development including the creation and execution of unit tests, and release documentation to Software Configuration Management - *Environment* o History of successful projects involving development and integration across multiple development organizations located in different geographic locations o Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate multi-national development - *Personality* o Effective problem solving skills o Outstanding interpersonal skills, written and verbal communications o Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment o Driven to meet aggressive milestones o Motivated to produce robust, high-performance software --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "DIRECT CLIENT IT NEED" group.
