We are looking for an Architect/Designer for a 3+month project for our
client located in Chicago, IL.
* No expenses and no travel, resource must live or be staying in the Chicago
area, will not allow early dismissal requests for Fridays and late arrival
requests for Mondays
*Technical Skills Required:*
* Web Sphere Portal Development
* JSR168
* Java
* RAD7 Portal
*Administration *
Nice to have (and candidate has actual working experience with these tools
they will be considered above all other candidates): Automated Testing Tools
(Canoo, Selenium)
*Assignment Description / Responsibilities:*
* Employer Portal Rewrite Project - This position is responsible for detail
technical design and development of Blue Access for Employers application
systems using existing and emerging technology platform.
* Client has also made the decision to change its' architecture
infrastructure to Common Portal Platform (CPP) technology that will enable
more efficient web application development and deployment. This new platform
supports the sharing of services/functions across our portals. For example,
once all the portals are on CPP, when we develop an enrollment function, it
will be accessed through both the Employer and Producer portals
*Major Accountabilities: *
* Weekly communication and status reporting detailing project status and any
risks / issues;
* Detailed Web Sphere Portal design documenting BAE User Interface and
Back-End Integration;
* System Integration Test Plan documenting the testing approach and test
cases;
* Updated with test results;
* Production Implementation Plan documenting deployment tasks schedule,
risks, roles & responsibilities, and back-out plan.
