Skills: data warehouse; Linux; SAN; UNIX; vmware; Windows XP
Descriptions:TRICS Storage Contractor Requirements
Nutley, NJ site
Minimum 3-5 years experience working as a storage administrator with the
experience in NAS and SAN architecture.
Must be able to communicate with platform (Operating system) administrators
and have basic communication skills such as planning, status reporting,
Unix, Linux, Windows experience mandatory
VMware experience optional
Legato software experience a plus
Tape Library and backup devices experience a plus
After hours "on call " necessary every 3-4 weeks.
EMC knowledge
Solutions Enabler command line knowledge
ECC 5.2 or higher experience
Navisphere and Clariion CX700 experience optional
Symmetrix and/or DMX experience
Mapping, masking, configuring luns on CX and Symm for various operating
systems
Network Appliance Knowledge
FAS3020 troubleshooting and management
Netapps Nearstore experience a plus
SAN Knowledge
Brocade/Mcdata and SAN fabric knowledge
Zoning, and troubleshooting skills in a switched fabric environment
Backup/Restore Knowledge
Tape Library and device administration and configuration
Legato Networker basic knowledge
VTL experience (optional)
