Job Responsibilities:
Project Manager & Deployment Lead - Global Data Warehouse Team
This Project is a corporate profitability reporting initiative that has been
developed over the last 3 years and is being deployed across multiple
corporate business units. A key component of that solution is in the
Global Data Warehouse.
This role will work with all Project work streams by partnering with the
business unit and corporate customers to implement the solution globally.
He/she will be involved in requirements gathering, analysis, detailed design
and implementation of the system.
Candidate will be expected to: serve as the Project "Ramrod" to drive the
Project Implementation
• Utilize the Project Management Methodology (creating ESAs and A3s)
• and to create and manage project plans and direct resources as
appropriate.
Accountabilities include:
• To be the SPA for multiple deployments on meeting the deployment
deliverables per the agreed upon project plan
• To act as the project management representative at lead team
meetings and manage the overall project plan for all SMART work streams and
Business Unit for the deployment wave.
• To provide requirements gathering, analysis, detailed design as well
as building and/or leading others to build and implement enhancements
• To provide ideas, advice, and suggestions to continuously improve
the performance of the applications
• To act as an escalation point for technical issues with both
internal customers and Infrastructure (GID) support personnel
• Manage an on/off-shore project team
• To ensure that the project is on-time and on-budget
Business knowledge:
• Must have a proven track record of working well with business
process owners, internal and location IT, and functional contacts to support
information systems. Additionally, experience working the Executive level is
desired.
• Proven ability to lead projects to completion within the committed
timeframe.
• Working knowledge of the OM/AR/MFG functionality (Order-to-cash)
with Oracle applications and some knowledge of Oracle GL
• Knowledge of finance processes, especially cost accounting, and/or
Profitability/Margin reporting is a plus.
Technical Requirements:
• Experience in coding and supporting systems using PL/SQL, Oracle
Application Toolset and UNIX shell scripting is a plus
