*Duration: 6 months* *Location: San Diego , CA* *Description : * *Essential Functions and Responsibilities* 1. Liaison between end-users/customers and IT department. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. Works under limited supervision. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. May lead and direct the work of others. 2. Interview end-users/customers to define business requirements for complex software modifications and enhancements. 3. Define and document requirements to assist in the development of software specifications to include flow charts, report mock-ups, and business rules. 4. Develop project plans, prioritize project tasks, and provide status updates on project progress. 5. Ensure that projects are completed on time, accurate to defined specifications within budget. Provide support to software development and QA staff as needed. 6. Provide technical consultation services to customers relating to the company's business processes, system requirements, and other technical issues. 7. Demonstrate ability to appear for work on time, follow directions from a supervisor, interact well with coworkers, understand and follow work rules and procedures, comply with corporate policies, goals and objectives, accept constructive criticism, establish goals and competencies as listed on the attached sheet. 8. Interview end-users/customers to define business requirements for complex software modifications and enhancements. *Experience** **Required*** 5+ years related experience working as business analysis, working with business units to acquire and document business rules. Preferred experience with software development life cycle. *Education Required* BS Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Apart from the above mentioned skills the candidate should be really strong with *PL/SQL and Unix Shell scripting*.
