DESCRIPTION:
§ Work as part of a Carrier Metrics & Analysis Team to assimilate data
from multiple source systems, create a usable database, cleanse demographic
and other data points and create frequent customized reports for carriers as
part of the EC 2009 revenue initiative.
§ Understand Marsh's data sources and how this data provides value to
carriers, create in-depth analyses though hands-on data queries, perform
data quality checks and research analyses.
§ Produce accurate error free reports for carriers that submit to EC
agreements on various interactions, placement and other metrics.
§ Experience in data mining algorithms and statistical methods as well
as experience in dataset preparation, data cleansing, feature extraction,
etc.
§ Advanced MS Access, Excel (Macro's), PowerPoint presentation
experience.
§ Strong quantitative and analytical skills
§ Close attention to detail, good organizational skills and ability to
multi-task
§ Good written and verbal communication skills
§ Sales and marketing analysis/data-mining experience a plus
§ Knowledge of insurance not required.
