Role:Oracle Business Analyst

Location:Hopkinton MA

Duration:6+ months.

Job Description:


The successful candidate will have experience with Oracle Contracts and must
not be a configuration specialist.  In addition, the candidates must have a
good basis of documentation, testing and communication. This assignment will
begin immediately and last for 6 months

General Description:
 GENERAL SUMMARY
Responsible for evaluating, identifying, and solving small to medium system
and process issues utilizing system and business analysis and design best
practices and solutions. Contributes to the successful execution of the
solutions delivery process. May be required to manage small
enhancements/projects.
 PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·  Effectively communicates project status and all related issues to project
manager. Work with Project Manager to manage change control, change request
process, including communications with the relevant stakeholders/parties.
Escalate requirement-related issues. Manage and control changes in project
or specific Enhancement Releases while communicating impact to business
stakeholders and project team.
·  Assists project manager(s) with the development of project plans for
small scale projects including the creation of detailed work plans and
timelines using project management tools. Responsible for working with
project manager(s) to ensure the integrity and completeness of the solution
delivery process. Partners with Project Manager on timeline, issues and risk
mitigation strategies. Provides input to Total Cost of Ownership (TCO),
Return On Investment (ROI), Net Present Value (NPV) and other relevant
financial analysis. Creates documentation to ensure business readiness for
all projects.
·  Accepts ownership of tasks and sub-projects and works under limited
direction. Provides input to training documentation on systems. Provides
on-going system support.
·  Works primarily with colleagues within IT, immediate Business users and
occasional cross-functional contacts on routine matters. Works closely with
the customer and IT team to ensure that developed functionality meets
requirements.
·  Leads requirement gathering sessions as related to the project. Creates
business requirements and functional design documentation. Prepares test
plans and scripts to perform system and user acceptance testing. Coordinates
and drives end-user testing. Executes test cases and scenarios for the
system, documents issues, collaborates with Development and other team
members and follows through to problem resolution.
·  Completes data and process analysis. Utilizes quantitative decision
support tools and modeling techniques where appropriate.
·  Conducts process and data analysis that identifies current state business
process and process improvement opportunities. Evaluates business process
implications of business requirements and assesses possible design
recommendations.
