Position: Ruby on Rails Developer

Rate: $50-$60
Need experienced Ruby on Rails developer. Minimum of 1 year RoR development,
3 years general Web development. Will develop community and
user-generated-content applications for a Web site in the health and
wellness space. Will need to work well in Agile/XP environment (test-driven
development, continuous integration, pair programming, short release cycle,
SCRUM, etc.).
· Excellent communication skills and ease with customers a MUST.
· Must have track record delivering database backend Web
applications.
· Experience with JavaScript libraries such as JQuery and Prototype
a plus.
· Experience implementing RESTful solutions in Rails 2.0.
· Must have experience in writing unit tests for both controllers
and models in either RSpec or TestUnit.
· Java experience a plus.
· Oracle a plus
