Business Analyst
Description:
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and verifying
the implementation of business requirements for technology and process
refinement projects required to support the growth of the company. You will
work day to day with the Functional Design, Development and Quality
Assurance teams as requirements move from design through implementation. You
will report to the head of functional design.
Responsibilities:
Write functional design specifications including use case, process diagrams,
data dictionaries etc.
Ensure that the internal development and QA teams understand and deliver to
the business problem
Be an ongoing resource that clarifies requirements and design details
throughout the implementation life cycle
Guide the creation of test plans and cases
Required Background:
Bachelor"s or Masters Degree
4 plus years progressive related business analyst experience in a dynamic
fast-paced organization
Reinsurance Experience (ideally Reinsurance or Property & Casualty)
Demonstrated ability to analyze, evaluate and prioritize tasks
Demonstrated ability to understand and implement software development
methodologies
Write functional design specifications for business applications
Use case analysis and design
Object modeling
Demonstrated ability to work with development and QA teams
