Job Description: Specific technical requirements include: 1. Must have 8+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle 8i/9i/10g/11g database in Data Warehouse and Online databases. 2. Extensive knowledge in Oracle RAC 3. Extensive knowledge in ASM 4. Extensive knowledge in Oracle 8i/9i/10g database and good knowledge and familiarity with 11g and its new features 5. Extensive knowledge in RMAN, Datapump, Import/Export, Oracle Partitioning, Data Guard, Oracle Grid Control & EM, Real Application Testing 6. Expertise with performance turning using AWR, STATSPACK, EXPLAIN PLAN, TKPROF 7. Good knowledge in Linux, Unix and Windows 2000/2003 operating systems. 8. Good knowledge in Data Modeling, ERWIN, Informatica (ETL), OBIEE & Control-M tools. 9. Working knowledge with EMC storage technology. 10. Good knowledge with Unix/Linux scripting (Shell, PERL, AWK) 11.
