Candidate Requirements
This project requires that proposed candidates be very proficient in the
implementation of Symantec Corporate Antivirus suite in a Windows 2003
domain environment.
The vendor candidate(s) must have strong project planning skills, preferably
including prior experience in Symantec Antivirus implementations of similar
scale, formats and related tasks. The candidate must be capable of
successfully performing information gathering, analysis and documentation
tasks as well as actual hands on creation and/or modification of the
necessary Symantec directory structures.
The vendor candidate(s) must have strong communication skills, be able to
demonstrate current knowledge of Symantec Corporate functionality and to
elicit information from users for necessary inclusion to existing project
documentation as directed for implementation. The various evaluation
criteria for the position we are attempting to fill will reflect these
needs.
Project Description
This project includes the detail oriented process of planning and
implementing the migration of designated Agencies from their existing
Antivirus application platform to the established Symantec Corporate
Antivirus system and standardized version.
These Agencies are primarily within the Executive Branch. Their physical
location(s) are primarily within the Charleston area, but an occasional
visit in another county may be required. No overnight visits will be
necessary. Travel will not be reimbursed.
