Position: Systems Analyst
Duration: 5+ Months (Immediate Start Date)
Location: Bothell, WA
Rate: $50/hr
*Qualifications:*
Skills/Experience Required:
• 2-5 years related telecommunications experience
• 3-5 years of business/functional analysis in an eCommerce or IT related
environment
• 2-5 years of Relational DB modeling
• 1-2 years of Project Management experience preferred
• Demonstrated interpersonal, facilitation, negotiation and leadership
skills
• Must be able to translate requirements in a manner in which internal and
external customers can understand but also in a manner in which development
teams can understand
• Strong understanding of various software development methodologies such as
traditional waterfall, agile, extreme programming
• Must be comfortable working with end customers
• Must be willing to work in a challenging and fast paced environment.
• XML and XSD development, some Java development experience preferred
• Skills required: MS Excel, MS Word, Visio, XML Spy.
*Responsibilities:*
Define and write Use Case and Functional specifications for the Consumer
Store Back Office application. Involved throughout all phases of the
Software Development Lifecycle. Once the functional specifications are
completed, the FA will work with PM, Development and Testing to ensure the
functionality is developed and released as specified. Develop subject matter
expertise sufficient to represent the Consumer Store Back office to all
stakeholders. It will be important for the Analyst to be able to identify
and work cooperatively. The position will also use innovative approaches to
better serve the customer and improve processes. Work productively in an
environment where job requirements, technical knowledge, approaches and
priorities change rapidly. Independently handle a variety of
responsibilities simultaneously and be able to prioritize those tasks is a
must.
