Participates in the development of data architectures and database management policies and standards. Provides in-depth consulting services in the identification and resolution of database issues. Participates in the planning, design, and usage of data resources. May develop detailed data models and entity relationship diagrams. - This position designs, tests, implements, maintains, and controls the organization's physical and logical databases across multiple platforms and computing environments. - Creates good database designs of moderate complexity. - Implements production databases, including infrastructure activities and security. - Completes database object creation, migration, data integrity and data recovery projects of moderate complexity. - Leads projects addressing moderately complex issues; can influence business requirements design. - Contributes to discussions on database management policies and standards. - Consults with, advises and provides guidance to database users, often proposing strategic solutions. - Collaborates closely with peer level DBA's.
