Apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve operational and financial malfunctions and make the appropriate recommendations in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments; Analyzes information(financial, work effort, risks, and activities) in a large package implementation project to achieve operational and financial efficiency and compliance ? Defines data requirements and gathers and validates information applying judgment and statistical tests ? Identifies and contributes to improvement opportunities with respect to project results, communications and operating efficiencies ? Prepares reports and data models to management defining problem, evaluation, and possible solution ? Design, conduct, and evaluates experimental operational/financial models where insufficient data exists to formulate model ? Specializes in research and preparation of data related to project productivity in a software development lifecycle initiative ? Develops and applies time and cost studies, such as Program Evaluation and Review Techniques (PERT), to plan and control large projects ? Collaborates, interviews and facilitates discussions with pharmacists, information technologists, and management personnel in the health care industry ? Assists in all phases of project management: project planning, implementation and monitoring results ? Builds relationships with project teams, vendors, and operational departments to understand their operational and strategic project plans, as well as associated issues and challenges ? Provides analytical support to evaluate financial implications of alternative business and project decisions ? Provide financial and operational support for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities of Project Teams and department; supports active engagement of departments in these activities, within appropriate timelines ? Assists the departmental financial analyst in the month-end close process and reporting; these activities encompass ensuring the proper accounting and accrual for significant contracts, variance analyses, and financial metrics ? Provides analytical support for management and project financial reporting, working in collaboration with other Finance and Accounting team members ? Perform special projects as needed ? Exceptional interviewing and facilitation skills with a very heavy focus in customer orientation ? Strong accounting skills or a degree is a must ? 5-10 years experience in systems development project(s) or programs managing the financial budgets in excess of $200M ? An MBA with an emphasis in finance or operations research would be an asset; or a CPA ? Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must ?
