*Upgrade PeopleSoft version 8.9 instances (DEMO) to Oracle/PeopleSoft
version 9.0.*



System components for upgrade shall include 9.0 latest recommended
PeopleTools and Application code base for modules currently implemented at
client site namely the following:

¬         Student Records

¬         Admissions and Recruiting

¬         Financial Aid

¬         Student Financials

¬         Self Service

¬         Talent Acquisition



*Responsibilities:*

Must have upgrade assistance with re-application of changes/customization to
*PeopleCode, Pages, Records, Views, Fields, Translates, Indexes, Components,
Color, Style, etc.   *



*Upgrade should include the following:*

¬         Improvements to the *systems setup and configuration* that would
allow greater visibility and access to information, *improved cross module
integration, optimize information processing* and enhance overall system
usability.

¬         Elimination of clients specific system customization where
possible to improve system ongoing maintainability and administration.

¬         Policy change and implementation of available functionality not
yet deployed.

¬         Organizational education, training and mentoring.



*The version 9.0 Upgrade Assistance Project deliverables must include the
following:*

¬         *Upgrade strategy and planning assistance*

¬         Client's Demo database for new target application version install
and certification

¬         Client's *Production database upgrade vanilla* and full compare
reports

¬         Client's project staff access to vendor supplied upgrade lab
environment, tools, methods and support staff.

¬         Vendor and/or PeopleSoft *upgrade methodology and approach*
*training,
documentation and technical support.*

¬         Formal *project plan, approach, schedule, staffing, status,
problem/issue resolution tracking and reporting.*

¬         Upgrade notes

¬         Test move to production scripts and documentation, oversight and
technical support

¬         Pre and Post upgrade technical assistance and support to ensure
stability of upgraded system.
