This is for my direct client opening for a Websphere Architect/Lead Implementer - San Francisco, CA. This is a long term contract (1 year plus) and the rate range is DOE. *Two very senior people with extensive WebSphere experience-they must have worked on at least one and preferably three recent projects using Websphere, and should be "rock stars" SME, Architect and Director level people.* Excellent experience in enterprise architecture, systems integration, package implementation, and/or interactive design, and Architecture experience Minimum 4 - 5 years of hand-on experience in architecting solutions using IBM Websphere Portal Platform. Experience with IBM Websphere Portal Server 6.0.x a must. Experience in WPP's (Websphere Portal Platform) personalization engine required Experience in migrating large public facing sites to IBM WPP. Experienced in creating a strategy, plan and articulating best practices for such a migration should have integrated WPP with a content management system (Interwoven preferred) 4 - 5 years of hands-on experience in Enterprise search (Endeca preferred) and Web analytics platform (WebTrends preferred) Knowledge of multiple technologies including (but not limited to): J2EE, CGI, HTML, DHTML, XML, JavaScript, Java, PL/SQL, IBM DB2, Red Hat Linux, Tivoli Directory Server 6.0, Rally, Tivoli, Mercury Interactive - Performance Center Certification within their area of specialization is required Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively managing client accounts and multi-track teams.
