2003 server environment. (Should be familiar with Peoplesoft HR Integration
Kits for Business Objects Enterprise)
#2*Crystal Reports X1, R2, R3*(must have been used in a windows 2003
environment)
#3 *MS SQL Server*(must have experience with performance tuning,queries)
#4 Good understanding of *SAP BW*
- Full understanding of administration Business Objects Enterprise
product suite, including Xcelsius, live office, etc. in the Windows 2003
server environment
- Understanding of SAP BW data warehouse concepts and architecture
- Exposure to Data Warehouse technologies (Oracle, MS SQLserver,
Cognos, etc)
- Experience with SAP and PeopleSoft Integration Kits for Business
Objects Enteperise.
- Experience with migrating Data from one Version of Business Objects
Enterprise to another.
- Some experience in Crystal Reports development
- We expect this person to keep up with changing technology, particularly
in the reporting or information delivery environment; and one who can
demonstrate the resourcefulness to learn whatever is needed to get the job
done. We are looking for a candidate who has a high level of intelligence,
creativity, and adaptability.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related
discipline with at least 5 years of experience in IT (three years in
administering Crystal Reports environment).
- Crystal Enterprise 9 or above experience on Windows platform.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Solid oral and written communication skills; ability to present and
explain technical information to end users in a simple way.

*Role:*
Ø Installation, configuration and maintenance of Crystal Reports XI R2 and
R3 on Windows 2003 servers in sandbox, development, QA and production
environments.
Ø Troubleshooting of problems, performance tuning and day-to-day
administration activities.
Ø Keeping track of the Service Packs release by Business Objects and
applying them as and when necessary.
Ø This position involves close interaction with users who are involved in
development of reports.
Ø The person would be working closely with the developers addressing their
problems. If needed he should be able to act as a liaison between Business
Objects technical support and the developers. The person would also be
working closely with Windows Administrators.
Ø We are looking for a person who has worked with SAP BW, SAP R/3, Oracle,
Microsoft SQL Server as a data source into a Crystal report.
Ø The person should have good knowledge of the product line offered by
Business Objects to advise our clients on the appropriate product to satisfy
their reporting need.
Ø The position requires willingness to be on call rotation 24X7 for
production environment.
