This is my direct client opening for DBA - New York, NY. This is a 12 months contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE. Candidates need to interview in person and should be in the NY area. *MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE* -8 years of RDB Oracle DBA Experience ( all skills below should be close to 8 years of expe. in each, this is preferred by the client) -Hands on Experience on OpenVMS/Alpha platforms -Hands-on knowledge and experience with DECTP products, includes ACMS(Application Control Management System) the TPMonitor Exp. Defining database physical Design and sizing for needs such as database reorganizations, sizing , capacity measurements, planning and tuning. -Sql/SQL MOD -Tuning the physical database structures, O/S and application query tuning and optimizations. -Exp.
