***IN-PERSON INTERVIEW MANDATORY**** ***NEED LOCALS TO FL**** Job Title: Web Developer Job ID: IL08234 Work Location: Schaumburg, IL US # Positions: 1 Overview: We are currently looking for a Web Developer for our client located in Altamonte Springs, FL (just North of Orlando). You will be supporting this Florida-based group and the website utilized by nationwide clients. This position will involve a variety of tasks including new development, custom interface builds and existing website support. This is a contract position that could last anywhere from a few months to a year. Most important: Must be methodical, documenting actions and preparing roll-back procedures and resources *Technical Skills Required:* • Web Services: Must be familiar with Web Services and protocols (i.e. SOAP). • PHP/JAVA: Must be comfortable with PHP and JAVA for building light web based applications that integrate with backend databases directly or via web services (SOAP). • Web Objects: Will be expected to learn Web Objects (Apple) for supporting TeleScope's Web Server/Application Server environment. If you have any exposure to TeleScope software, you will receive first priority, but this is not a required skill. • Must have a strong familiarity with Oracle 9i/10g Database, MySQL and toolsets. • Must have a strong understanding of SQL. *Major Accountabilities:* • Administer and develop in Web Objects to support TeleScope's current web interfaces for customers and be able to build new web interfaces for new customers. • Build-out custom web interfaces (sites) in TeleScope for pre-sales and customer demos. • Participate in R&D exploration for new solutions and integration best practices. • Be able to perform database backup and recovery procedures, monitor database performance/health, perform database imports and exports, perform table migrations, and monitor weekly maintenance procedures for backups and best practices. • Participate in the development, integration, and support of PMC Portal. • Work with group on U.I.
