*Title: Technical writer (8 positions) * *Location Corona, CA* *Duration: 2 months* *Only Locals consultants Needed* * 4 – 6 years Overall experience must* * * *Position Description This position reports to the National Solution Center Senior Manager within the Enterprise Operations, Technical Support Services Organization. The positions are located in the Corona Data Center working 8 hour shifts 5 days a week. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in English, Technical Writing, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent industry technical writing experience. A minimum of 2 years IT experience with a solid understanding of IT concepts and fundamentals is required. Experience in healthcare related industry with understanding of business drivers and dynamics is preferred. Specific Responsibilities Include: ? Analyze documentation needs and usage in the context of Incident Management Process. ? Assist to ensure proper, complete, and timely communication within KPIT. ? Identify and fix documentation errors, including outdated content, broken links and missing content. ? Fulfill documentation needs in the context of IT Incident Management Process and within the operation needs of Enterprise Operations. Skills Needed: ? Excellent written and verbal communications skills ? Ability to analyze and apply problem-solving techniques to troubleshooting problems with documentation. ? Ability to edit content for readability. ? Ability to test and validate content for usability. ? Ability to manage and work independently on multiple concurrent assignments, of various sizes and topics, simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, and to carry out assignments on time. ? Working knowledge of MS Office, Lotus Notes, and graphic software applications. ? Writing samples are required. Skills/Experience Needed: ? Remedy ? ITIL ?
