Description: Senior Tester - The
ideal candidate will have experience in software testing and healthcare
background but more importantly be able to conduct functional and
non-functional
testing on a B2B and portal transactions including complex interfaces with
existing legacy systems, and X12 EDI/XML Transactions (837, 271
etc.).
This "Sr
Tester" position involves reviewing the requirements for testability, black box
testing, white box testing, X12 EDI/XML transaction testing and documentation
of
testing procedures. Candidates applying for this position should expect to be
tested on their experience with writing Test Approaches, Test Cases, Test
Scenarios and Testing Points including familiarity with EDI transaction testing
basics, Healthcare basics, SOA, Database querying, SOAP, XML, and Unix
skills
Qualifications:
? This
position may require experience in software testing, preferably with Mercury
suite of tools (QTP and MQC).
?
Applicant must possess software troubleshooting experience and/or demonstrate a
high degree of knowledge in computer systems.
? The
ideal candidate will have Candidate must be able to work independently, be
organized and self-motivated.
? 5+
Solid years of overall Testing skills/knowledge ? 2+ years EDI/XML transactions
testing experience ? 2+ years UNIX, ODS experience ? 2+ years of Web
Services/SOAP testing is MUST.
?
Expertise with EDI, XML, and SOAP is MUST.
?
Expertise with Mercury QTP or other SOAP validation tools like ‘SOATest’ is
MUST.
?
Testing Experience in health care products/industry is MUST ? Good verbal and
written communication skills ? Automation background in client-server and Real
time/batch transactions ? Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills. Great
attention to detail.
?
Familiarity with Security & Visibility Testing of Multi-tier application is
desired.
?
Familiarity with SOA and Trizetto FACETS is a plus.
? COTS
product testing background is a Plus.
