"Leave Request System Update Project" This project is incorporating several new technologies to the OIT group, and will be implemented in a phased approach. We will need expertise and guidance in OID, AD, SOA , and HA areas. The redesign of the Leave Request System application used by all staff has a go-live date of January 31, 2009 for core users. This will phase out company wide by July 31, 2009. The Leave Request system (LRS) is being updated to allow more secure entry by staff and supervisors. It will incorporate web services as a test project for future incorporation of SOA technologies into company wide needs, and to ready us for an upcoming Identity Management Project, which is in it's initial stages. *The current critical target dates are:* January 20th — unit and integration go live for select group with OID/SSO February 15th — unit and integration go live for second group with OID/SSO ??— unit and integration testing for SOA web services ?? — ?? — production upgrade complete and returned to team for review and opening to users Expected Deliverables: Add expertise and guidance to Senior DBA staff with new technologies - best practices and troubleshooting. Provide weekly status reports of hours worked, what tasks were assigned, what has been completed, and what issues are outstanding. Required Consultant Resources Expected Skill Sets: *Middleware (Integration) Specialist* One or two resources are needed for various project areas in either SOA and/or OID expertise --DBA with SOA experience in installation, upgrade, clone and configuration of Oracle's SOA architecture in a clustered environment --DBA with SOA and Oracle e-Business Application integration experience --DBA with SOA experience in configuration of the components for BPEL, ESB, WSM, and BAM --DBA with SOA experience with Big IP F5 or load balancing technology experience --DBA with SOA experience working between Developers and DBAs to expose Web Services and ability to communicate between Developer and DBA groups --DBA with SOA and OID integration experience --OID implementation experience (with clustering/replication - in a non-RAC environment). --SOA Suite experience (including securing web services using OWSM and integration to OID) --Knowledge of OID with EBS, using role-based access (RBAC) --OID authentication to AD with AD role information ---Development and DBA background a plus We would require either on-site consultant services, or alternatively, off-site, daily one hour phone conference calls, including follow-up documentation and close coordination with our DBAs.
