Job Title : Web Application Developer Location : Tulsa, OK Duration : 12+ months Rate : Open Overview: We are looking for a Developer for a 12+ month project with our client located in Tulsa, OK. Position Description: • Specific expertise in solving complex Web-based application solutions. • Analyzes designs, develops and supports all major Web information systems designs from an enterprise perspective. • Requires significant expertise in applicable and various development technologies. • Working experience with HTML, CSS, XML, XSL, XSLT • Database like DB2, Oracle etc. • Experience with MQ, JUnit. Ant • Rule engine like JRules and Unix environments • Web services • Tile, Velocity and an understanding and/or developing UML modeling • Tools like Middlegen, XDoclet, WinSQL, TOAD • Application development in IBM Mainframe 9) CICS, Cobol, JCL. Skills Required: * Bachelor Degree with 5 years experience OR Technical Certification or College Courses with 6 yrs exp OR 7 yrs exp * Object Oriented Design and Programming * Understanding n-tier concepts * Working Experience with server side JAVA/J2EE programming including but not limited to JDBC, Servlets, JMS, JNDI, JSTL 5) Java / J2EE design patterns * Understand and experience with software development lifecycle and methodologies including code reviews and version control software such as CVS * Understand distributed systems * Understand and experience with SQL * Experience with client (GUI development) and server side programming * Experience with open source frameworks like Spring, Struts, Hibernate * Understanding of Relational database concepts * Experience with IDE like Websphere Studio Application Developer (WSAD) or Rational Application Developer (RAD) * Understanding of MVS design patterns * Write test cases and test plans * Maintain system availability and coordinate issue resolution.
