Will do data analysis on production data. Current work is done in Java 1.5 and J2SE. -Flash development experience is required. Will Develop chart and graph capabilities -Oracle database development. -60% new development -The candidate will work on one of two projects listed below: *Plus:* Experience with Portal. Experience: *First criteria: *must have the Java development, Jboss, and Tomcat experience required!! * Second criteria: * Flash development experience. Past experience with Linux configuration, configuring to firewall, adding users, and Linux installations are a plus. *EXPERIENCE* -Java: 5 years -Recent Flash development -Web Services =2-3 years, preference is Apache Axis, but would look Java Web Services -UML =1-2 years (minimum would be some type of integration tool) -Windows Admin =1 year -Linux =1 year (is a plus) -JBoss (is a plus) -Portal (is a plus) -Strong Java web services (is a plus) -Apache Axis (is a plus but will look at or Java Web services) -No J2EE Not looking for an enterprise developer that has just done Java code. This person needs to be familiar with operating systems as well. Familiar with OS, apache install, configuring, Linux or minimum windows admin. Web UML, any type of integration tool: Web Logic, etc. Oracle 10g is their database. Will look at 9i experience, however. It is imperative that the person has recent Flash development. The company has requested that the candidate put together a short paragraph detailing their experience in Flash development. When possible, they would like to see an example of their work. The manager will ask the candidate what their specific experience was as it relates to Flash and the example they provided. The test will consist of the candidate being given a blank laptop. They will download the necessary programs they need to complete the task. It is preferred that they use a recent version of Flash. The test (application) will need to accept input from a user and then retrieve data from that information. They will then use Flash to develop a nice display for that information. If you can find a candidate that has this experience and that can develop a program using Java and Flash from scratch, they will get job.
