Position: Oracle e-Business Suite Technical Consultant
Job: Oracle Application Developer (Senior or Lead)
Summary
CLIENT has a custom-developed billing application that resides within the
Oracle e-Business (R11i) suite. As part of a major conversion project to
convert additional business units to the 11i Financials platform, some
additional functionality must be developed for the billing application.
Some data conversion may be required to prepare for billing of the new
business units.
Qualifications
- Experience in Oracle Developer using Forms 6i and Reports 6i within
the Oracle e-Business Suite R11i Financials.
- Strong Oracle PL/SQL programming skills
- Strong knowledge of Oracle RDBMS
- Strong understanding of Oracle Financials 11i and underlying
technical layers.
- Experience with Oracle Accounts Receivable (AR) and AutoInvoice
interface is preferred.
- Experience with configuring Oracle Applications concurrent requests
- Good interpersonal, communication and writing skills
- Create detailed design specifications using functional requirement
documentation.
- Code, test, debug, document and maintain programs
- Analyzes application requirements and provides recommended design
- Create detailed project outlines and application design
specifications
- Quality reviews of code developed by other development staff
- Develops test plans
- Designs for more complex integration with other
applications/technologies
- Strong data design skills
- Thorough understanding of database transaction processing
- Experience with Unix and shell scripting
