Performance of duties will sometimes require work outside of regular business hours. - Monitor SQL Server activity, error logs, event logs, space usage and security on a daily basis. - Review database designs and SQL code. Work with developers to ensure that new designs and code are efficient and logical. - Develop and Debug Stored Procedures. Review for Performance. Work with team to develop Database Standards. - Troubleshoot database and database server related problems. *Qualifications/Experience:* - We are looking for someone who has a strong initiative, is eager to learn and to teach, and is able to work independently. - Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008. Microsoft Certification a plus. - Experience with Replication, SSIS (Complex Packages).
