Job Title : SQA Analyst Location : Pasadena, California Project Duration : 6 Month(s) Skill Set : Our client company is looking for a SQA Analyst to work with the business analysis group and the development teams to develop and maintain complex software specifications translating business requirements into engineering actions and test scenarios for our Fixed Income trading applications. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Work closely with teams of BAs, developers and testers throughout the entire development life cycle to elicit and manage requirements Create, execute, track and report on functional and integration test cases generation and execution of assigned modules Identify the test data per use case and per test case; validate functionality based on requirements and use cases Validate business rules in calculation, financial planning and reporting engines; find, report and retest defects; execute end-to-end testing, integration and functional testing as assigned; track test case execution Develop test strategies and test plans, ensure product quality, provide consulting on quality techniques, and ensure adherence to proper software development procedures Create, execute, track and report on functional and integration test cases generation and execution of assigned modules Work on department-wide activities such as process improvement efforts, gather and report on quality metrics, and participate in pre-and post-implementation reviews Job Description : Must have Charles River experience Experience : Experience gathering business requirements, full SDLC, Application Design, technical and business writing, and testing methodologies Strong experience in documenting process flows and scenarios for functional testing Have sufficient knowledge in using defect tracking, requirement management and test management tools Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts Prior experience using CaliberRM and Test Director is a big plus Education : A 4-year degree in a quantitative discipline, Business, Computer Science, Finance or Accounting. Minimum of 5-8 years prior experience as a BA/QA Analyst. Prior QA work experience in Financial industry fixed income, stocks, options, futures) and familiarity with data vendor products (e.g.- Yield Book, Bloomberg, etc.) is a big plus.
