Duration : 3-6 months

* Duties:*
Ø Assist in evaluating and documenting strategic long term
infrastructure goals, policies, procedures and consolidation options in
regards to Active Directory and Messaging services
Ø Qualified candidate will be tasked of assessing and documenting all
options available to management to improve the structure of the Directory
and Messaging group and identify staffing level requirements that will allow
the group to provide consistent level of support and expand its services to
a larger customer base
Ø Qualified candidate will assess and document the various options
available to consolidate a large Active Directory environment to achieve
cost savings and centralize management

Active Directory forest
Windows Operating Systems
X.500 Mail Hubs & Directory Services Symantec
Enterprise Vault
systems
Exchange 2003 Servers
Iron Mail SPAM appliances
E-mail Gateway
BisCom e-fax
Wireless E-mail (Blackberry & Windows Mobile ) List
Server
IBM and HP Hardware support
SharePoint server
Systems Management (SCOM, HP Open View, IBM Director, Symantec
Antivirus systems)
This person must be able to translate best practices into functional, well
defined processes and procedures to improve efficiency, lower operating
cost, and implement proactive management of the enterprise Directory and
Messaging environment
· Perform Gap analysis
· Assist with developing strategies and methods to measure
performance
*Skills and Competencies:*

Ø The candidate will have a strong experience with setting up support
organizations from ground up for a large Directory and Messaging environment
based on industry best practices.
Ø The qualified candidate should possess:
Ø Strong ITIL experience
Ø Strong Project Management experience
Ø Strong Business analysis
Ø Strong knowledge of Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF)
Ø Strong technical expertise in the areas of Microsoft Windows, Active
Directory, Exchange 2003/2007, Anti-SPAM control, Directory Synchronization
products
Ø Strong documentation and presentation skills
Ø Experience in implementing setting up IT support organizations for a
large Active Directory and Messaging environment
· The candidate should possess a strong knowledge of Microsoft
operating systems from Windows 2000 through Windows 2008, Active Directory
and expert level knowledge of Exchange 2003/2007.
· Minimum of 5 to 6 years hands-on experience in a large (10,000
seats) enterprise level environment.
· Hands-on experience in large multi- domains and multi-sites Active
Directory environment, DNS, GPOs.

Understanding of production operational requirements and methodologies
Solid documentation skills
Proven problem identification and resolutions skills
MCSE certification desired
