The Release Engineering team plays an
integral role in software development at the company, as our client is
responsible for implementing and executing our products' release processes.
As
a Release Engineer, you will help the client’s software development teams
by
creating and maintain deployment procedures using Serena Mover and Builder,
or
any other tools appropriate for the project. You also will be responsible to
help evaluating, implementing and supporting a new Source Code Management
solution.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience in managing a source code version control systems
(PVCS/Perforce/Subversion).
• Extensive knowledge of Windows and Solaris Unix/Linux platforms.
Familiarity
with Windows development a plus. Oracle Database knowledge a plus
• Experience with build management tools (make, scons, ant).
• Skill with one or more scripting languages.
• Extensive knowledge of OOP Programming skills
• Ability to work well with developers, test engineers
Skills/Knowledge:
• Attention to detail and effective time management skills
• Should have hands-on experience - Win XP, Win 2K3, Solaris and Linux
• Quick logical thinker, quick problem solver
• Administrator knowledge of Windows Operating System, Solaris and MS-SQL
Database is plus
• .NET knowledge is a plus
Communication and / or interpersonal skills: good comm. skills
