*Graphic Designer *(x2)
A 'Designer' is the second-tier, or intermediate level position in WebMD
Design Studio. They must take direction well and be able to execute concepts
by the guidance of Sr. designer and Art Director.
Must also have some experience working in a fast –paced business
environment. An intermediate designer creates web advertisements, webpage
designs, html emails, multimedia work, print pieces and other materials.
Things to expect
• Short deadlines and the occasional late night
• Excel at thinking and performing under pressure
• Can juggle several projects and consistently meet or beat deadlines
• Be dependable and able to work with little supervisions, but also love
collaboration and brainstorming
• Have a thick skin and your ego under control
*Requirements*
• A college degree in a creative field, preferably in graphic design or
multimedia
• A minimum of two years working/freelancing in an online or interactive
position
• Demonstrated experience creating compelling banner ads and webpage designs
(portfolio required)
• Exceptional Photoshop, ImageReady, and Illustrator skills, including image
optimization
• Basic Flash skills mandatory
• An advanced ability to code HTML, an understanding of the basic principles
of email marketing and knowledge of browser platform issues required
