Modifies, codes and test new and enhanced system and programs from generalØ requirements. Investigates and resolves moderately complex system andØ programming problems, inclusive of the creation and maintenance of technical documentation. Recommends solutions and recommends design improvements forØ increased efficiency. Functions independently at a high programming levelØ with responsibility for meeting established deadlines. Qualifications and Experience: A related Bachelor’s degree and 5 years progressive experienceØ in Information Technology (mainframe, mid-range, Intel platform). MinimumØ of 3 years experience with relational databases and the use of Structured Query Language. Minimum 1 – 2 years experience with Actuarial valuation processesØ and with SAS system and SAS Programming language. Applicant is required toØ have: o advance analysis skills o Basic knowledge on the subject of extract, transformation and load techniques. o Basic skills in handling of multiple file types, such as EBCIDIC and ASCII files.
